HE+ programme
The HE+ project is a scheme facilitated by the University of Cambridge, Peterhouse College and Sixth Form providers in the Nottinghamshire area. The project is aimed at students from the state sector who have the potential to make strong applications to the University of Cambridge and other research-intensive universities. It is intended to provide students with activities to stretch and challenge them academically and provide them with the advice and guidance needed to make competitive applications to higher education.
Each year students are selected from the Year 12 cohort to take part in this scheme.
Being part of the scheme gives students the following opportunities:
- Students receive guidance from the Cambridge Admissions team on applying to research led universities.
- They hear from HE+ alumni
- Student attend masterclasses in their chosen subject stream.
- Students get the opportunity to visit Cambridge and Peterhouse College to meet current students, view the facilities and continue their super-curricular subject work.
